380$ fee Paid... HELP HELP ! ! ! ! !

Hi,

I sent the NVC my I-864..... within a week they have asked for the fee of 380 $ to be paid so that they can send me DS-230 froms.... Does this mean My affadavit of support has been approved and i am through of the important stage.....
 
No, sorry, it does not mean its been approved.

For reasons best known to NVC, they serially send out requests for the I-864 fee, I-864 form, DS-230 fee and finally DS-230 form. Its not until all fees and forms have been received, that they finally look over the forms and send them out to the appropriate consulate.

This is usually done in stages, the I-864 form is reviewed immediately for errors and requirements, if not satisfied it is retured with written explanation. the DS-230 forms fee is the last fees requested. You can call NVC and enter your case number and you will get the status. But I think it is approved.
