350 and 400 days for TSC to process I-140

Just Check the status of I-140. The processing time is 350 and 400 days now (It was 275 and 300 day).
What is wrong with TSC?

Your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received on August 20, 2003. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 350 and 400 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.
 
That was like breaking news on Monday morning and you are right .. its official .. from 275 - 300 to 350 and 400 .. is this because they want to clear 485 ??

Message changed from 275-300 to 350-400. Thats around 13 months max and the processing time was supposed to be reduced to around 6 months by the end of 2004.
I know some people have waited around 3 yrs for their 485 but most of them had their labor and 140 done in decent time but many of us have waited a long time for just our labor to be cleared.

There is no sense to post any time line. They can randomly change it to any number as they want and need.

If the current processing date is Feb 17, 2003. That means they are at the 378 days range... Man they are good and on schedule !!

I also feel the same. What is more important is for BCIS to make the schedule predictable rather than random. In many instances, you read about approved cases that were filed just 3 or 6 months ago, while there are pending cases filed more than 12 months ago. The approved cases posted at www.immigration.watch, if they are true, illustrate this randomness. If you know that your case will be treated at the end of 400 days, then you do not need to worry much.
