Is there any waiver to someone who has received a ban ? A friend said he could file an I 601 ?? but this is for people with illness.


If the American embassy has given this ban in error, who do you contact to redress the error or complain to.?

The 601 waiver is not just for people with ilness. It is used for the 3 or 10 year bars too.
When a ban is given, they have to give a reason for it. I believe the Embassy has to be contacted if the ban is being questioned.
