Hello Everyone!

I became US permanent resident on May 26'2005 and want to file for my citizenship in June'2010. For 30 months continuous stay requirement I am running short by 3 days.
I went to India on Nov'23 2007. If you calculate the time difference between May 26' 2005 and Nov'23 2007 its 3 days short of 30 months.

Will this be okay? or I will have to stay for another continuous stay of 30 months.
Please suggest/advise, this is urgent as I need to take some decision based on this.

Thanks,
Harru

You don't need to spend 30 consecutive months...just 30 months (minimum) within the US, after your PR, to be eligible to apply. You should be fine.
