2yr Gc - If Divorce

I received my GC in April 2006. Since my marriage was less than 2yr at the time of the interview, it came with 2yr only, as I expected.

Now, me and my wife might divorce this year. What happen if we divorce before the condition removal.

Am I in trouble?

If you were in an abusive relationship , You can apply to remove conditions based on a marriage entered in with good faith .
You need to get someone to help you with marriage problems ....... if this does not work , you will have to get in touch with a lawfirm that does family and immigration practice .

You will have to worry and loose sleep if you got married to evade immigration laws .
