2nd time FP

1st FP - 8/1/01
2nd FP 11/1/01
AP - ????

When I went to give my FP the second time they (local office) said it was already there & did not take it.But the AVM still says \'Fingerprint notice has been sent in Oct\'.Some of my friends AVM was updated to \'Fingerprint received, it is being processed\'.
Has anyone had similar problem.Does INS updating the AVM really matter?
 
Which Location in US ??

I am also in the same boat.. same RD and same FP date..

RD - 05/16
ND - 06/14

First FP - 08/01
Second FP - 12/13 for me and 10/03 for my wife..

Local INS they didn\'t take my finger prints for the second time..

Hi,

I have RD 5/4/01, ND 6/5/01 and 1st FP taken at 8/3/01. Also received the second FP notice which I ignored as the first FP was taken before less than 90 days. I checked with FBI and also called NSC to make sure and according to IIO my FP results were in the file. Still the message says in OCT. the FP notice was sent........

I am just waiting for approval.

Same message as urs... "On Dec 13

an FP notice was issues with times and locations blah blah.. " for my case and for my wife "On Oct 3 an FP notice was issued with times and location blah blah... "

"hvenki\'s" case got approved and he says that local INS office took the FP\'s second time and his AVM changed to something else.. and also his case is approved.. His received date is also in May.

RD 04/2001 ND 05/2001
AVM still says FP mailed out on 10/2001.
I did my FP on 07/2001. According to FBI
my first FP 07/2001 is fine. NSC IIO asked me
to ignore 2nd FP notice 10/2001 which I didnt receive,
may be lost in mail

RFE 4-APR-2002 Rfe was about supporting documents for Birth certificate(we gave them Birth Affidavits(lawyer suggested original affidavits))
RFE documents received by INS on 19-APR-2002
AD - 15-MAY-2002
Going for Stamping next week
