2nd time extension

Hi guys,
Sorry for posting it here.

I need to extend visitor's visa for my mom. She already extented once without problem(ie from
feb'04 to august '04.) but I need to extend her vista for another3 months from aug'04 to oct '04.
IS it possible legally. If so can she leave the country before getting the approval or denial.

Everything is legal to apply. You can apply for anything. But if she has stayed here for more than 6 months continously then when she would be trying to come next time she may face hard time because officer might not allow her entry stating her intentions of overstaying.

I dont see any problem if she has got multiple entry visa but if she has to go to consulate again for visa stamping then it might be a problem.
