Hey Guys,
I have applied for H1B1 extension with Texas Service Center. Current status expires Oct-1-2005. On LCA, I got the extension begin and end dates from Oct-2-2005 to Oct-2-2008. But when I got the APPROVAL today, it is valid from OCT-3-2005 to OCT-2-2008. The begin date is OFF by a DAY.

Should I be bothered about that ONE DAY? because I am sure I will be illegal!!

I am thinking of writing a letter to the USCIS, Texas SC, attaching approved I-797 and copy of LCA filed with the petition and requesting them to change the begin date from OCT-3-2005 to OCT-2-2005 and rest the same. OR
If they say, I can't have begin and end on the same day, which is OCT-2 as per approved LCA then I can have a clause in the letter saying to move the end date ahead by a day and not the begin date that keeps me ILLEGAL for 24 hours.

What's your BEST advice in this case??

Thanks
Srinu
