Thanks for reminding me. To be honest, I am not feeling bad. I am expecting this as you never know who is working on your case. Intact, I did spoke to II two weeks back and they told me that it is not required to file I-140 in case of name change. But then, you are dealing with the officers (sometimes) who doesn\'t want to take time to find out facts. Their attitude is just send out the query and I don\'t want to deal with this.
My point is no one is denied because of name change. It is bad INS didn\'t have concrete guide lines to take care of changing corporate structures. But, I am glad they are expediting I-140 approvals in the case of 140 reds.
It is my sincere hope that every one\'s case is approved as we are law abiding and hard working immigrants. We don\'t deserve this kind of torture.
