2nd RFE received WAC03-017-5XXXX..Please Help

Hello Guys...Please help....

I received my 1st RFE on March 26th for EVL, 3 yrs W-2 and Tax returns, last 3 pay stubs and the Employer Tax returns. They had actually asked for 3 years tax returns from my employer but the company I work for is only 2 years old. So I could send only 2 years tax returns for my employer.

I had filed my LC and I140 with an earlier employer and that company was bought out, so I have filed a I140 amendement before I filed for my I485.

I also did my 2nd FP last week. Today I just checked my case status and it says that a 2nd RFE has been mailed to me.

Has anyone received a 2nd RFE before?
Any idea what this 2nd RFE might be about?
Could it be a problem that my company sent only 2 years tax returns?
Can I call the USCIS 1-800 number to know the details of the 2nd RFE?

Any help/advise is appreciated.
 
Try not to worry...

Have seen 2nd RFEs on this board like proof of address (Lease doc), marriage certquite minor things. If it is the 2 years of tax forms they are querying - then a simple explanation would be in order, giving a copy of the articles of incorporation or something like it. I totally dont think it is anything to worry about, and I dont think they are trying to catch you out at all. Whatever it is , you have the answer to it.

Thanks..I tried calling the 1-800 number and they do not tell the contents of the notice...so need to wait for 1 week to get the notice in hand. Will keep you guys posted with the details when I get the notice in hand...lets hope for the best...

Response to my RFE was received by USCIS on April 6th. Did not receive 2nd FP though 1st one expired. Now after 1 month, they issued RFE for my dependents on May 7th. Technically it is not a 2nd RFE and I do not know the contents yet but here is my conspiracy theory:
They issued some 800 RFE's (mostly for employment verification) for early WAC03 series in mid March without looking deeply into files. Remember that the RFEs said that it was based on prima facie review (read "issued by contractors" here). Now they have the responses and officers are looking at the files. They might have questions about something and can issue second RFE if they want. If there is nothing more required, the case gets approved.

So, I believe, your second RFE is not related to a deficiency in your response to 1st RFE. It is something minor that the contractors missed in the first place.
