2nd L1B with new company

I have been in the US for 5 years with my current company on an L1B.

Can I accept a job with a different company who want to get me another L1B and serve them concurrently, i.e. not leave the US or leave only to process visas?

If not what options are available for me to work for the new company?

The new company is a spin-off of current company (exchange listed in it's own right). Does that makes a difference at all?

Not much choice...... another L1B is not possible as no of years are exausted... you will have to stay out of US for 1 yr and come back.
