I have 2nd interview tomorrow. I need your advice. Pls let me know what document to bring and the like questions. Have you been through 2nd Interview? Pls share ur experiene.
 
Since i havent been to an interview before, i do not have much advice to give but just relax and go over the civic questions one more time. Good luck. Let us know how it goes..
 
I have my "N-400 update"(There was no word like "second interview" in my letter) this week. I am ready to take on if they ask me any civic questions. I will not be preparing for it . Because I passed it 2 years ago. Also I have a lawsuit pending in the court.-----------------------------------------------------------------
Apart from what they mentioned in the letter like ids, gcs, passport, apointment letter,

I will be taking a copy of my submitted N400

Filled up a fresh N400 with new info(only the pages needed, not whole N400 form)

Copy of N652

Copy of Tax papers since my first interview

adress change papers

job info

copy of letters (+USPS tracking info) sent to the office since my first interview

I will show them only if needed..........I spent the whole weekend preparing myself for the "war". lol

if u have everything straight forward I wouldnt worry about so many things. But in my case, I was outside US and changed job few times.....But do it according to your situation. Good luck

A second interview is fairly standard with cases that have been pending for as long as yours. Its nothing to worry about - unlike a 2nd interview for marriage based GC - they just want to confirm that you've "been good" and maintained your eligibility criteria.

Documents for Naturalization

Guys, I just got my GC so I am still about 5 years away from naturalization but I want to ask - what documents would I need when I apply for naturalzation? My attorneys have been super secretive and never sent me copies of any Labor Cert, I-140 or I-485 related documents that they filed and I am afraid if I am asked to produce any of them in 5 years, I won't be able to. Do you know which ones may USCIS decide to ask for?
 
You need form N-400, once you have ur card don't worry u wont need any of the form he filed for u. Just remember all ur info. Print out the froms you mentioned online and fill it out and keep it for your record. You should be fine. I have copies of the docs that i used to apply for green card but they didn't ask for it. For sure, you will need the info in it.

The main thing you need to do between now and when you are eligible to apply, is keep good records of any overseas travel. Take a peek at the N-400 form, and see what sort of stuff its asks so you'll know what to record.
