2nd FP

Guys, I received my second FP notification yesterday which is scheduled for 9/12 in Alexandria, VA. Does any of you know if I can get this done earlier than the sheduled date at this office? I am planning to give it a try today and wanted to check with you people if it's worth making a trip. Appreciate any inputs.

Buddy,
Just walk-in there, show ur FP notice and hope things workout.
Dont pre-emptively say that you are coming for 'early' FP..No Local offices had allowed that..! If they happen to notice, and if asked, just be prepared to have a 'good' reason for coming early..

No harm in trying early FP, since ur approval looks like is just pending for FP2, as I guess u wud have responded to RFE, and FP2 has been issued after RFE..!!

Yes, I have responsed to the rfe and BCIS received the response on 7/30. My first prints expired on 7/23. It probably would have made a difference if the response reached them before 7/23, who knows, but I didnt have enough time to do that as the rfe was generated by BCIS(NSC) on 7/11 and I had to get the affidavits from India.

In any case, I am going to give it a try around noon today and hope they take the prints.
