2nd FP Received, Location for FP change needed. please send your comments

Hi Gurus,
I received 2nd FP notice yesterday. I relocated to Chicago last November and sent a change of address form to INS. Despite of this fact, INS has sent the 2nd FP notice to my old address !!.

Now, I have got the appointment on 10/9/03 at BCIS Boston, but I am in Chicago now.

Would you think if I call INS to change the location for my FP to Chicago, I am triggering them to transfer my file to Chicago?

Or I should just attend the FP at Boston ?

Try at Chicago first. They may allow FP from other centers. Changing FP location will not trigger anything. AR-11 may (in a few cases) might trigger a transfer apart from other reasons.

For address change, call INS and change it over phone.

Try to do fp in chicago center. What I found in other thread is, your address change will not transfer your file to chicago.

Do Address change and confirm with NCSC.

Address change may or may not trigger local transfer
