Just reveived the 2ND FP notice. Does anybody know, if we need to pay for the @ND FP? If answer is yes, how much is it and do they accept personel check? Thanks.

Hi lisansw:

Great news! I don't think there is any money to paid for the 2nd FP.

BTW, could you please post your case details - Category, RD, 140 and 485 etc?

Early 2ND FP Done

All,

Scheduled 2nd FP for late September, I have done FP on 8/3 at San Jose with no problem. Only thing is that you need to wait other people done first but there were no many people on the day. 8:05 am arrived and left at 8:30 am.

To Ananya123

Hi,

The office I went is 122 Charcot Street, San Jose. They open from Tue. to Sat, 8:00 AM to may be 3:00PM ( I can not remember when they close). It is walk in. I did not call before I went and there was no extra charge in my case.

Once you enter they check your ID and the letter from USCIS. You need to fill a form bascially, your name, DOB, addresss, SSN, A# and so on. Then you will be issued a token. Once they call your number, you step forward, FP process will only take about 5 some minutes if everything goes fine.

I do not have the answer for your last question.

Hi lisansw,
Even I need to go to san jose for my first FP on Aug 19th. I want to do it little early. What days and time would you suggest? Is it a walk-in? Do we have to call the san jose center and let them know that we would like to come for early FP? Is there any extra charge for that? What is the procedure in the FP office. What do they ask you to do, once you entered?
Would there be any objection by USCIS or FBI if we do early FP.
Please throw some light.

TIA
