2nd FP notice - Need Help

Hi Guys,

Our I-485s were filed in VSC and the received date is June 24, 2003. On August 31,2004 , we gave finger prints in Boston,MA. I have not changed my address.

Again today I received one more FingerPrint notice for myself. My wife didn't get the notice. This time I was asked to go to Providence support center this month end. Is this common? Any reason why two times finger print notices were sent and two different places ? Did any body got this problem before?

Got second finger printing in less than a month

This has happened to us also. We did our FP in Newark on 8/20/04 and received a notice to go again on 09/21/04 at the same place. Called lawyer, USCIS and everyone suggested we go again even though the case status shows that FP results have been received and processing has been resumed.
