2nd FP for wife, not for me??

Hi All,

My wife a got a letter from INS for 2nd FP and also it is outdated.
Can i call INS and get for another date?

I haven't got anything so far for myself? Do you think local INS can take my FP also with wife's FP?

I received my FP2 notice and my husband didn't at the beginning. Luckly, our lawyer got the letters. Usually, INS will send to both of you and your lawyer the notice.

We moved from PA to NM. Our lawyer told us just go to the local ASC for the FP2. We had it done in Nov. But the results were sent to TSC. Not sure about that. FBI service told me it is OK since it is accessible all over the country. Anyway, I wrote INS a letter about our status. Hopefully, we won't wait too long.

i talk to my lawyer about it and she said it is ok to go to local INS for my wife' FP and request them to have mine also.

We went to local INS (San Antonio) and did for both of us luckily. Officer was kind enough to allow me even though i didn't have 2nd FP document.

This is interesting as in my case I received the 2nd FP but my wife didn't. I have given my 2nd FP but we are still waiting for my wife's 2nd FP notice.

When you gave your 2nd FP what reference did the officer use. I mean A# or I485 Receipt Number.

I always thought that you need an FP notice to give FP as the FP notice has the FP number which will be used as reference to match to your file :confused:
