2nd FP confusion - Please Help

Hi experts,

I am having confusion with too many 2nd FP notices. Can anyone help on two major points:

1) My wife and I recieved 2nd FP notices in the mail, with appt date of 8/18/04. We completed it in San Jose on 7/17/04. Now our attorney informed us that she recieved FP notice for us with appointment date of 8/31/04!!! What to do? Should we give 3rd FP?

2) I called up FBI, and they said that they recieved our 2nd FP results on 7/18/04, processed them and sent them to California Service Center (CSC) on 7/18/04. The FP notice was from VSC and our I-485 was filed at VSC. Will CSC forward our results to VSC or are we stuck because FBI sent our FP results to the wrong service center.

I would say it does not harm to get another FP if that is what USCIS wants you to do (other than wasting some time). Atleast talk to them on the 800 number and ask them what should you do. Why dont you ask this question to your attorney??
