2nd FP - Can one go before appointment

I just read a message on the board that implied that one can go for the 2nd FP before the scheduled time on the notice. Is this true, has anyone else done that?
 
It depends on the local office if they will entertain you before the interview date. Some do it before the date while others will sk you to return on ths date specified. No harm in trying though
 
I did that two weeks ahead of scheduled date. The officer just wrote the current date and said "don't do it next time". I certainly have no intention to redo the FP.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll give it a shot. Last time I went there they were sitting around doing nothing, they certainly had the time to do it.

I Did My 2nd FP About 2 Weeks Ahead

I did my 2nd fingerprint about 2 weeks before the scheduled
time. I went in there just to ask about what documents I needed
to bring. They said they could do it on that day. So I did. They
asked me not to do it again on the scheduled date. I certainly
had no intention of redoing it.
