2nd FP - Approval time

Hi

I am a silent reader of this forum.Here are my details.

I got my second FP recently.I got a call from my lawyer.I did my last(1st) FP on Aug 2005.My PD was current at that time.I came to know i got struck in Name Check.

Now the question is ,if we got 2ndFP , it means the name check is been cleared ?? how soon we will expect the approval ??

Now the question is ,if we got 2ndFP , it means the name check is been cleared ??

No it does not mean anything. FP results are valid for 15 months only. Every 15 months or so the system generates a new FP notice for you automatically. Some people go for FP 3 or 4 times and all that time name check is pending.

On December 20 received a new I-797C and a new FP/Biometrics were taken on 12/22/2006.
Any idea if again the FP/Name Check starts again?
