2nd FP appointment for 765?

Hello

My case:
Applied for 130 / 485 together
Finished interview (April). Waiting for name check to clear

We decided to apply for 765 just in case it takes time. received a notice for FP appointment again. Is this normal? i already had one for 485.. so what is this one about?

Well usually people apply for their 485 and 765 on the same time. When you go do your biometrics its usually done for both at that time. Also, if its been more than a year since you had your fingerprints taken, they have to retake. Also did you have your picture taken the first time?
 
My lawyer told me that every time you file an I-765, it automatically triggers a biometric examination.

This is not an error. I had FP done in October. Recently, I applied for EAD and I have an appointment for FP today.
