2nd FP and conversation with IIO

I got the 2nd FP notice last week and my 1st FP was done in October, 2002 . I am really surprised and talked to an IIO this morning. She said that they are not officers and can not tell me the reason for 2nd FP, but she said that my file was last updated in April, 2003 by someone who may or may not be an officer. Can any one explain what this means. Here is my details.

I was in a similar situation. Went for second fingerprinting, told them my story, a dude at the support centre called NSC and told me that I had two A#'s, which NSC reconciled. At that point I was told to go home and not to worry. The moral of the story: check your A#'s on the first and second notices (and I-485 receipt), call NSC, go to your appointment and take a copy of your first FP receipt with you. Tell the guys there your story and see what happens. Post an update when you're done.
 
i had a 2nd FP; went to local office; IIO checked computer and asked to go back home; he suggested fingure prints are cleared from first time around, so no need for 2nd FP......

Even We got 2nd FP notice we went to local INS center and FP was done. I didnt get what u guys r talking abt.B'coz I was told by my attoney that if approval takes longer than one year from first FP I think system will automatically generates FP notice. In my case if I check online status it doesnt say anything abt FP. There is no change in status evn before FP and after.

LOKRA, what the people above are talking about is getting a second FP notice before the validity of their first FP had expired. your lawyer is right about a second notice being generated, although it is generally believed that the FP validity period is 15 months, not one year.
