no 2nd fp yet after being expired for a long while, spoke to attorney, he says no news is a good news, not like we guys think no 2nd fp is a terrible news, how many of you guys agree to that please post your opinion

I don't think no news is good news. People who get 2nd FP get approved in a couple of months (Unless they get an RFE).

How about people with RFE and no 2nd FP yet?

Any ideas?

I wish my lawyer would tell me their opinion on things like this. They never do and just say "Well, it will be a while longer" and give BCIS processing times.

Well, I guess most attorneys are scared to initiate an enquiry with USCIS and they give standard replies.

When USCIS sends an RFE, they will put a timeline on your file. By the time they touch your file to review RFE, if your FPs are expired, then the file goes to standard wait line for the 2nd FPs to be scheduled. And this 2nd FP scheduling depends on the work load of your local office where you are supposed to give FP.
