2nd FP and Adjudication

The letter I received last week from USCIS states

"(I-485) New Fingerprint appointment will be determined at time of adjudication."

This was in response to my fax requesting them to issue 2nd FP notice.
A reasonable interference, that 2nd FP is issued when the file goes on the desk of IIO, may be drawn from this statement. Other than that, nobody knows what goes on inside USCIS...

I am a Wac 02-086 case, no 2nd FP, no RFE, am i correct in understanding that Goodsaint too is in the same boat? what is yr Wac series GS? I have also sent a fax enquiry ..no response yet..EB1 case
 
2nd FP received last week.

pceefan, you should send a fax to INS everyday. Also contact Senator's office. JIT is way beyond your RD.
 
you are right. but, the problem is that INS does not store the finger prints. the finger prints are transmitted to FBI and thats pretty much it.

I heard INS is planning to store the FPs so that they can be sent to FBI automatically when desired at later date. This will eliminate 2nd FP notices completely. However, its highly unlikely that this will happen in our lifetime (given the complexity of the process of storing the data :-) ). INS sucks. they spend over 300m on IT every year. yet they are still in 80's era.
