2nd Fingerprint Notice - Different BCIS Center

Hello Folks,

I just received my second fingerprinting notice as my first expired a while back. My application is filed with VSC, the first fingerprinting was done at the Boston Satellite office. For the second fingerprinting I have been told to go to the Manchester (NH) office.

Is this normal (to change offices)?
Does this mean my pending 485 file has been transferred?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Usually it is the nearest office to your current residential address. So if your address has changed, the office may change too. I dont think it signifies that your case has been / is about to get transferred.

I did change addresses but in the same city itself. But I guess since both centers are about equal distance from my current residence it was just a matter of where an open slot was available. Anyways I am hoping that this 2nd fingerprinting is the final step before I get my long awaited GC
