2nd EAD valid dates

Hi Folks:

I am planning to apply for my 2nd EAD at VSC-USCIS, as stated on their website one can apply/renew for EAD 6 months advance before its expiration date ;

My questions are ,

if we apply 6 months advance and got approved in 4-5 months, what dates they use for validity of the new EAD ?

Is it valid from the current expiration date or starts on the actual renewal approval date ?

Effective Date on Renewal EAD can be either when officer process your case OR the date after your 1st EAD expires.

This has been the trend based on prior posts.
