2nd EAD Approved

AM_OPTIMISTIC....please reply

AM_OPTIMISTIC,
I am planning to file for renewal of my and my wife's EADs. Did you file online or sent papers for your EAD? If it is paper based filing, where did you take your photoes like AAA, CVS, or Post office? Fee is $175 right?
I will be sending following documents:

• Form I-765 with two photographs;
• Check in the amount of $175 for the filing fee in favour of “Department of Homeland Security”
• Copy of front and back of I-94 arrival/departure card and latest H1B approval notice;
• Copy of front/back of last EAD;
• Copy of I-485 filing receipt notice;
• Copy of I-140 approval notice;
• Color copy of passport's biographic page;
• Copy of Birth certificate.
•Copy of Marriage certificate for spouse.

Any other docs to be sent apart from the above ones?
Thnx

AM_OPTIMISTIC....Thanks for the reply

AM_OPTIMISTIC,
Thanks for your detail reply. I have one more question and sorry for my ignorance. What pages refer in our passports to "Biographic Pages".
Thanks in advance.
Raaj

Biographic pages mean the the pages with your info like Name, Date and place of Birth and parents info. usually the first 2 and last 2 pages in the passport. if you are in doubt, add a page. visa pages are not necessary.

You are so close to your 485 approval, Good luck and may be you should hold on for a few months b4 renewal application. They are renewing in 1-2 months time frame.

sanjb.....Thanks

sanjb,
Thanks for your reply with the info I just want. Yes I am very close to I-485 approval and I am also of the same opinion of waiting for few more weeks (ofcourse not months as mentioned by you) before filing for mine and my wife's EAD renewals. But I read in some posts that the renewal may take sometimes longer than we expect, some times due to RFE like photos etc. Currently I am in H1 and my wife is in H4 status and neither me nor my wife haven used EADs. I want to be on a safer side, in case if I use AC21.

Thanks again for the useful info.
