2nd EAD Approved

Just got email from USCIS stating that my EAD has been approved with ND 4/14/04.

It still didnt trigger any thing for my I-140. All the remaining I-485, I-140 and AP dates remain the same as they were

Hi karns,

Did you apply for the EAD yourself? If so, what are the documents you had sent? I'm getting there, so any help would be appreciated.

It was very simple

Copy of my filed 140/485, two photos, copy of my previous EAD and a check and obviously the actual form. I sent it by mail and not electronic
 
How long does it take nowadays to get your second EAD? Suppose for example, if your current EAD expires on June 30th and you applied 3 months before for your 2nd EAD and if you are receiving your 2nd EAD on June 15th, when does the validity start for the 2nd one and does INS give the 2nd EAD after the expiration of the 1st EAD(Say July 1st, ie., after June 30 the day when the 1st EAD expired)??
