I am applying for 2nd attempt tourist visa for my parents around Jan 2005. I would like to call them before Feb13th 2005. 
First attempt was back in Jan 03 almost about 2 yr ago with. Their visa got rejected stating section 214(b).
Back in 2003. I was on TEMP Green Card (Wife is USA Citizen) and now I will be getting my permanent GC in another two month or so. In Feb 05 I will apply for my US Citizen as I will complete 3rd wedding anniversary and eligible to apply for US citizenship. Once I will get citizen around End of 05, Right than I can apply for GC for my parents which will approve in another 8 months mid year 06. Than no one can stop them coming here
I am their son with two elders married sister who are in also Bombay but living with their families. (Jiju and their FIL, MIL)
For 2nd attempt, I need to prepare them really good. They need language translation as well. (I want to call my parents here for Baby shower and also to help my wife for her delivery). Off course I wouldn't mention that in application.
I have following Q's
1) Plan visit is Feb 2nd week of 2005. When they should take an appt with Mumbai consulate? Or how advance?
2) No major prospect change to produce any evidence in their situation that might help to show good social and financial ties. What situation I can produce so they can show some good reasons to come here.
• I can have doctor note from Bombay stating they have to be back in India to help my sister in her Delivery. (Off course it’s easy to produce this type of letter from my family doctor)
4) Can I show baby shower as the reason while applying 2nd time?
5) Is it beneficial to apply separately for my Mom and Dad on different appointments?
6) Is it good idea to have my Wife (US Citizen) to sponsor them rather than my self?
7) Is it good idea to have my FIL or MIL to sponsor them rather than my self? They are also US Citizen.
8) Is it a good idea to hire a lawyer from US and prepare the documents?
9) How much bank deposits my parents needs to show as minimum in their banks?
I am sole financial supporter for them. My dad was retired over 5 yrs and mom is house wife.
10) Is it good to produce false experience letter that my dad is working again and he got his holidays approved from his employer. That can be done as well 11) Is it good to apply for tourist visa after election?
12) Any special recommendation for 2nd attempt?
13) Any other ideas?
As you can see I am desperate and need them here. Not because I really need any help with my wife’s delivery but I want them to visit me and not to go through the same nervous breakdown they had when they got their visa rejected for the 1st time.
