I got my I-485 through 245i, EB3. Is this any different from most of you guys?
I see a lot of EB2's & a lot are couples with families on the I-485.
I am single no dependent, so is this any different in processing the I-485 cases?

So your case was approved?? Congratulations!!
I am sooooo glad!!
I thought that there might be problems for those using 245i..(not being approved..)
I have applied for I485_EB3 and had to use 245i.
My I485 was sent to VSC in May 2002, then transfered to NYC in Sept 2003 and I am still waiting for an interview.
Would you mind sharing your details: when was your I140 approved, when did INS receive your I485 and at what center? GOOD LUCK!!

NO, I wish it was approved!
I am asking anyone in the same boat as we do. Majority of what I see from all these threads are EB2's, with spouses & families.
CAN ANYONE ANSWER US PLEASE???

My case was using 245i. Got 2nd FP notice on 6/16.
According to my Attorney, once the case was pretected by 245i, it should be treated just like the other EBs. I've seen a few 245i approval posts.

Hope more people will share their experience.

our series # are close. You are lucky you got your 2nd FP notice, I have not.
I am also on my 3rd EAD :(
At least, your answer sounds hopeful for me!

Once u apply for 245i and get your labour approved , in the 485 stage there is no differnece between your caase and any other case.
However, data has shown that EB2's for some strange reason have been favoured recently which is not something USCIS stipulates.
I am sure they have some criteria to handle EB1/2/3/NIW internally and 485's are not necessarily handled in chronological order like USCIS claims.
thanks

Yours will come.

You can also search this forum by " 245i". May give you more ideas.

Good luck to all of us!

EB 2's are part of the pilot prg. at most centers - that's why you see so many more of their approvals.

I am both EB2 and 245i. No news for me so far. Last touch date was more than 1 year old. I'll let you know when I receive any new activity.
