245 (I) explanation

       Please explain who is getting help from 245(i) process and what is the affect its having on 485 process.

Hi,

I too am interested in learning more about the 245(i) clause.

I just got my GC approved on April 2nd (I-485), but my wife\'s I-485 was filled on April 3rd.
So I may need to apply via I-130 and use 245(i).

Any info is very appreciated.
