21 Questions, not really...

Hello all,

My wife and I (US Citizens) are looking for a way to assist her father (mexican citizen) in living and working in the US. I am beginning to understand the I-130 form and what happens. I guess the part that I don't understand is when I look at a lawfirms website and they want to file more than just the I-130.

1. In our case, what would filing an I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 accomplish? This is what is advertised on the Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna's website for a family based petition for parents.

2. If the father lives in Nueva Laredo, Mexico, and wants to continue living there, but work in the US, is there any alternatives to him having to get a GC and live in the US?

3. If the father is given the GC by the US Consulate in Nueva Laredo will he be asked if he'd like to bring his wife and/or children?

Thanks,
