Abbreviations

AD - Approved Date
RD - Received Date
ND - Notice Date
PD - Priority Date
FD - Probably FP which is fingerprint date
FP - Fingerprint
LUD - Last Update Date
RFE - Request for Evidence
ASC - Application support center
 
To register for Automatic E-mails

Go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and Register your case details there. When you begin to register you would see the following columns:
Receipt Number - your EAC#
E-mail : Flag to receive notification upon any changes in ur case
Last Updated (mm/dd/yyyy) : this is LUD
Form # - like I-140, 485 etc...
Form Title - name of the case..

You can add all your cases there.

When you have a LUD it means that USCIS is currently working on your case for e.g it might have cleared one of the many steps in your 140 or 485 processing. All LUD's need not necessarily trigger an update in status(which usually sends you an E-mail). One will normally have an update in status if case is approved, RFE's etc..

There was LUD 3/6/5 on cases who filed in Jan 2006. So far i noticed more than 10 cases with this LUD date.

I believe it was LUD on All Jan cases.

Some Process may happening internally in USCIS.
May be these Jan case are assigned to some officer to process.

I-140 filed on 7-mar-2006, Got reciept 13-mar-2006

Yes, my case was filed on 3/6 and ND is 3/82006. Got it 2 days ago.
 
What is the significance of LUD (Last update date)

Hi Guys,

I am new to this thread. My perm just approved and will be filling i-140 very shortly. Just making my self know about I-140 process. What is LUD (Last update date)?

My labor is still not clear EB-2 RIR VA. People around me are getting their LC in advance.
Akelaapproved left and right. I want to get my papaers ready (Last time I could have filed my LC before April 2001, did not and I am paying a very heavy price).

I have all the papers except, my I-20 (I went to school here) and my EAD (for OPT training for the same company I am with now). I hope my lawyer have the papers for these (I am with the same company since 1999 after graduation). What are my alternatives of getting these documents.

How do I get my previous EAD and my earlier I-20 (maybe the school would help). What about EAD that I got for my opt training. How do I get a duplicate when filing for I-140.

Folks:
Any recent approvals of I-140 for EB1 extraordinary ability, EB1 outstanding researcher, and EB2 national interest waiver categories from Vermont Service Center? Just want to see the deviation from the published processing dates.

Hello Friends:

I applied my I 140 on Dec 6th 2005 and was waiting on this and got a email which says additional information required (RFE) and its the big hurdel because it is Ability to pay in 2001 as my labor was filled in 2001.

My company is not doing good and am getting 45 k per year my labor application was for 70 K i don't know whats going to happen.

Was any body in the same situation before, and if yes what do you think will happen.

My lawyer id good but he is on vacation and will return after couple of weeks.

Please give me some input on this i am on H1 B visa and my visa will expire on Sep 2006 final i will have to go for a extension and was waiting if can get this approved so can get 3 years extension instead of 1 year.

Please give your opinion as it matters a lot to me.

My I-140 has been approved (On 27th Mar). Attorney got the approval notice today.
