I'm starting new thread to track and discuss the 2005 cases. Please post your dates / experiences here, if you applied to NSC in 2005.
 
How long it take for I-131 approval

My attorney mail my application of I-40, 131, 765, 485 on 7/22.

Any one have any idea how long it will take to get I-131 approved.

131 and 765 are pertty quick to get approved. However the time required for their approval varies.

It can range anywhere from 2 weeks to 4-5 months. But normally it should come in 1.5 - 2 months.

I-140 Processing date move to 08/01/2005

Hi guys,
Thanks Whythisdelay for starting this good place to exchange news.

All my documents (EB2) were recieved on Sept 19, 2005 at USCIS. Now I am waiting.

My wife's TN stamp was just expired, and now she is not allowed to cross the boader to get a new visa stamp, and she has to wait for EAD. Hope it will be coming within 2 months. :confused:
 
Submitted 140&485 on Sep 30

Please share if anyone is in same boat. We can keep track on the progress.

Hello Labor_cert

I am also in the same boat, Just 4 days early. Good news is that processing date for I-140 is moved to 08/01/2005.

I-485 is 10/01/2004.

hopfully we will hear good news soon...............

We mail the application (UPS) on 9/22/2005
and notice date is 9/26/2005
received the Receipt on 9/28/2005

ajoo - is your's a sub lc?

Just wondering - is your lc a substitute lc or original lc of your own?

Original LC. (not sub LC)

Waited for 4 years.

Now waiting for AP first and then others I-140/I-485/EAD

I wish this site have counts for 2005 also. (year to date)

I am following dates from the last 2 months. I-140 move almost 13 months. (I am talking about EB2)

2004 was the year when everthing was stuck somewhere..............

I check the processing date on AILA site and hoping that our turn is in near future....................

Hi George,
To clarify, I am in H1B status while my wife uses TN.
The lawyer in the company law department is not really an immigration expert. Your comments via the link is very helpful and I wish I had read it ealier.

Please share your Receipt dates

Hi Guys,
As we know more of us would have filed 140&485 in the last week of Sep 2005. Please share your posted date & Receipt/Notice date.

Mine filed at NSC on Sep 30th.

Still awaiting receipt notice.

Once we have enough members on this thread, we can start an excel file to track this information.

Reciept dates

Did you guys got your reciept dates. My case was filed on Sep30th so far no news about my reciept dates.

Not yet.

My friend whose case also is in NSC told me it takes 2-3 weeks. I'll ask my attorney early next week (dont want to ping him too often and get the usual 'dont know' reply).

Congrats on making the cutoff date.
