I recieved my GC after 6 days of approval e-mail. It was backdated correctly.01/13/05
No approval letter.....

How come you get ur GC when they are processing cases submitted Sep 2000.

abeshaw, my ND is 10/03. I received my RFI in 11/05 and they received it on 12/02/05 but never sent me Bio. what about you? have you received Bio?
 
Yes, they reecive my bio and medical on 1/16/2006.
BUT, and truly speaking i do not expect them to send me the plastic before 2007.

anyway, happy u r.
 
No no! I am taking about another fingerprint appointment, photo taking,... after you received the notice for medical. have you received any notice to appear for another FP?
 
thanks abeshaw, drop a quick note here if you receive a FP (Bio) notice. My LUD changed few times after they received my RFI and I never received the Bio notice. so, I am kind of concerned...

Did your AS7 or AS8 also get approved ? TSC or NSC ?

We have repeatidely observed that BCIS does not adjucate cases on First In First Out (FIFO) basis. There are a lot of asylees with ND 2000 (and some with ND of 20th Century) who are still waiting for approval. Your ND is only 12/2003, and you may get approved within this year or next. Count your blessing, abeshaw- yager lij !!

Are you planning in visiting Colombia anytime soon before getting the US citizenship?


I should be receiving the GC anytime soon (within 2 years) and find myself wondering what to do. If you go there anyway, please share your experiencies.

In a couple of years when all of you guys who hold a GC now, start applying for USC... we'll find out who was wrong and who was right.

You will be approved before June. What did they asked for in the RFE? or it was RFI?
