2002 Dec Case -- Second Finger Print received.

Hi,
I filed 485 in Dec 2001, now I got a Finger print notification from BCIS. It is saying my original finger print (taken in April, 2002) on file has expired and has to be retaken.
The schedule date is in September, 2003 which is too far away.
Another long wait after September.
Any thoughts?

Can I do it earlier than the scheduled date?

Hi,
The second finger print was scheduled on Sept 18. Can I do it before that? I mean it is too long to wait to Sept. 18.
Anybody has any experience on this?

Don't Wait...Just give it a try at your local BCIS.
My 2nd is scheduled for 31st July...did it on 12th July..!

do a search on the forum - there are many people who get their fingerprints done before the actual date!
 
Question for John Li and vijayrc

Did you guys only received second finger print notice at home or your lawyers also got a copy. My fingerprint expired today but I didn't get any 2nd FP notice yet.
I was wondering if for some reason my mail got lost on the system whether my lawyer will get a copy at the same time or not.
I would highly appreciate your response.

Both me and my lawyer got the notice around the same time.
U can go early FP, if things go fine at local BCIS office
U can go with ur copy/lawyer's courtesy copy.Both accepted.
