i m on j1 visa currently.
my home country = india
if i decide to go back to india for 2 yrs home residency requirement in order to skip the waiver ( as waiver is hard in the speciality , I am in )...can i apply after 2 yrs for a H1B visa job from India ?
Also , i wanted to know if i have to stay CONTINOUSLY for 2 yr to meet the "home residency requirement" or I can visit the US in the meantime in order to appear for my boards etc ? Will my visit to the US restart the 2 yr home residency requirement clock.... or it does not matter as long as i complete 2 yrs in india in bits and pieces?
