2 photo to KCC

Hi

I found some people sent 2 photo to KCC and some did not. From the NL1, they seems not asking for 2 photos. I am a little confused. I am wondering should I sent the 2 photos?

yes they ask for 2 photos, no problem you can send them by mail to kcc address and they will include them to your case, good luck
 
REALLY lol I will check mine my friend, but I am very sure they ask for photos with ds 230 1 and 2 in the instructuion they sent, but no need to be worry, you can submitt it in the interview day no problem, but I am really sure its in the instruction I have
 
Guys this is really confussing, I asked one of the DV consultant here in nepal when I recived the 1st letter for help. they just said one photo is enough.

Now after I have visited the site I am more confused, the link says

"Two (2) photographs of yourself and of each family member applying for a diversity immigrant visa. Ensure that the photos comply with the General Photo Requirements."

I clearly doesn't say any thing regarding in which state we need to give them two photoes

@KS156 and @madu12 I don't know which one of you are correct or wrong:confused:???

I hope me sending 1 photo doesn't effect my chance of getting the second letter.
 
it wont effect your chance of getting second letter, and also I sent one photo with each form and it's in the instruction, don't worry man, every thing will be fine and we will make it :) no need to be worry trust me, the most important thing to have Asia current
 
Per your winning letter It tells you to follow the the web site, dvselectee.state.gov and Step 2 is very clear about what need to send back to KCC. This not my thought, this what's the dv winning instrocture said.

Thanx for ur nice encouraging words. But how can u be so sure it won't affect the chance of getting a second NL???? I have this problem : I sent the papers a week ago and then I found that photos I sent didn't follow the specifications of KCC. Do u think if I sent the correct pics now, this will not affect my chance???

Yes, but in the 1st NL they ask for one photo for each DS230 form and I also sent one each. When inquring with KCC they told me that "Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing" . So I suppose if we follow the instruction in the 1st NL , there won't be any problem.

Also DS230 form is not only for DV visa. It is common for all other immigrant visas. I suppose instructions on the web sites are common for all.
Best thing is to follow the instructions given you by the KCC in the 1st NL and 2nd NL.

How were u able to contact KCC ????coz I sent them 2 emails with 3 days between them....but I got no reply. I put the
Case number, Full name and birth date.

Yes with the same information (CN,DOB,Full name) , I asked KCC about my interview date. So they replied me saying that my application has been recived and accepted for visa processing and asked me to follow the visa bulletin to see my number become current.
 
as madu said, its in the 1'st NL instructions, with every form ( ds 230 1 and 2) one photo, that means 2 photos sent back to KCC for each person applied with you also, guys if you didn't sent the 2 photos then immediately send them to KCC address, and I mean for that namitrathapa because he have high case number and maybe we will be current in August so send it by FedEx or DHL directly good luck guys :)
 
No Firo, you have misunderstood me. I said that I sent only one photo for each applicant. Since I have my wife and son , I sent only 3 photos for myself, for my wife and my son.

In the 1st NL in the Instructions ,under Step 2 what they say is

Submit one(1) photograph for yourself and for each family member applying for a Diversty Immigrant Visa.

Ok, thanks madu, I make mistake because I sent 2, any way no problem I guess, because any way if there is something wrong they will let us bring it in the interview I think, the most important thing to be current :) and I hope that we will be in August
 
Yes anyway I suppose sending one more photo wont be a problem . As you said all of us will be current in August .
 
I just called KCC to inquire the photo question. The do need a photo for each forms. If you didn't send the photos, you should send them to KCC. Don't worry too much. They told me many people send photos later.

Thanx so much .....U made evrything clear now. I decided to make new pics and have them sent by DHL by the end of this week.
I am so much delighted to receive your replies.
 
Yes send them as soon as possible my friend and include a letter explaining that you forget to sent them before and that you like to include them to your case, and don't forget to include your case number and name and all your infos, good luck :)
