can someone suggest me if 2 months of recruitment would be sufficient time to prove that we had done eneough of recruitment process before applying for RIR? My employer haven't started Advertising yet for the job? wondering if i can get started now and apply before march26th.

It is depend on the occupation and the state in which you are filing LC. Each state has its own criteria for accepting LC in RIR. Generally two print ads one month apart, one internet ad and some other form of recruitment constitutes a good recruitment for RIR.

Another important issue on timing is, one has to wait about one month from the last ad to submit RIR LC. In your case, it looks like time is very short. Hurry and consult with qualified attorney, if you do not want to file thro PERM and to file in RIR before March 27.

Other option is file in Regular now and convert it to RIR latter.

Thanks GC_Puli thats what i was planning to do eventually if i can't file with RIR now. By converting from Non RIR to RIR 6 months down the road can i still keep my Priority date? which would be assumed as if I applied RIR some time in FEB even though i applied for non RIR in FEB and converted to RIR in June?
