2 money orders an issue?? afraid it will get DENIED...

I a helping my family apply the I-485 package (I-485, I-765, G-325A, I-864, I-693)

I know the fee for the I-485 package is $1,010. I attached two postal money orders, one of $1,000 and another of $10 (US postal service money orders).
The post office told me that they cannot make a money order that exceeds $1,000...reason that I got two.

Will that be an issue?? Is it alright to send two money orders ($1,000 and $10) paper clipped to the I-485 application??

Your family? How many are adjusting status? If it's more than one person, you need to send an individual I-485 for each one who is adjusting status, along with $1010 for each.

You'll have to wait and see what happens. It might confuse them and make them send it back. If sending two money orders, it would have been better to send $930 and $80, as those are the I-485 fee and biometrics fee respectively so it wouldn't look strange to them.

Fortunately, if they reject it because of how you sent the fee, they'll send it back quickly (in the next 2-4 weeks), so you can immediately reapply, assuming your priority date is still current.
