hi,
I have applied for a change of status from H4 to F1 at the california center. haven't received a receipt from them yet. my husband's H1 is valid till october 1st week and so he needs to apply for an extension of status now. i wanted to know will this affect my application since i have already filled out an I-539 and he too will be doing the same. what if my H4 gets extended after my F1 does (although that's unlikely, but still..). will i again go back to being on an H4? do they even consider 2 I-539 applications for the same person?
help! need to know what to do ASAP!
