2 H1B visas

Dear Friends,

I'm U.Jayaraman working for Wipro Technologies, Chennai. India.
I’m having H1B stamping for a US company. I didn't join that company yet.

Wipro also filed my H1B visa and stamping next month.

Is it possible to have these two H1B visas active at a time?
Or when I'm going for Wipro stamping, they'll make my first visa invalidated?
If I need to retain the first visa while second is getting stamped, what should I do? Please guide me.

You can work for only one company. If you go for visa next time thru Wirpo, I guess your old visa will be canceld and re-issued new visa thru Wipro.
