2 EADs from 2 GC applications?

I have recently applied for I485, EAD, AP (I140 approved), spouse has also started the GC process. Is it possible to get 2 EAD's from the 2 GC applications?

I plan to use EAD of my GC application to work part-time or change jobs (may not be able to use H1 since I will soon complete 6 years on H1). In the event my I485 application is denied, can I use the EAD of my spouse's GC application to remain in the US legally?

I suppose you can have 2 EAD in one I-485 application. Even if your first EAD is still in effect, you can apply second EAD and pay the fee, INS will issue second EAd from that date (not the date of first EAD expire)

I am not sure how INS treat two different application like your case. In case your I-485 denied for some reason, if you already derivative applicant from your wife you will be still be adjustee, you don't need EAD to stay in status in USA. EAD is only for work. but once your I-485 filed you will be in status as adjustee which is legal status.

And if your concern about working after I-485 denied, when INS send letter for intetion to denied I-485 application you can apply EAD on basis of your Wife I-485 application.

Consult your lawyer, becuase it's complicated matter.
