2 different IIOs tell different stories!

FP done at 02/21/01, ND: 10/19/00, EB3(other)
1st time I\'ve called INS a few weeks ago and spoke to IIO - he told me that FP info is not in their system yet but my case has been assigned to the officer.
2nd time I\'ve called them today and asked about the status of my I-485. An IIO told me that my FP info is not at their system and my case is not assigned to the officer until my FP info will appear at the system.
(FBI said that they sent my FP info to INS at 02/23/01).
My wife did not get her FP notice so far!
Any ideas why it happenes?

Hi Tkeo,

That\'s very typical: different IIOs give completely different
answers to the same questions. These IIOs oftentime
have no idea what they are doing at work.

In your case, I advise you to go to a local INS office
and get a finger print notice for your wife. You have
a very strong reason (i.e., spouse has not received
a notice while the primary has) for doing so. Good
