2 Days left

Hi,
I have applied for LC at NY on non- RIR at June'03 and my 6 yr term is ending on June 04. The gap is only 2 days left for '365 days' to do the 7th year extention. after filling the LC.

My Question is.

1. As only two days left it would be a problem to get the 7th year extention.

2. And also it would affect my GC process.

Sorry about that, its a NO, you can try to re-capture time, but you have only a 50/50 chance. INS does not appreciate it much.

You have to have a pending LC / GC Phase1

1. The LC should be atleast in the SESA offices and 365 days should have past.

2. If your previous employer had applied for LC and 365 days have past your current employer can use that, to process your 7th H1B. ( you will need to have the case# and so )

Other than that there's not much I can think of.
