2 checking accounts : o.k. or not o.k.?

Is it a problem if I have two checking accounts ( joint with my husband and my personal ) ? Is it bad for my case? Should I close a personal one ?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

During the interview, the focus would be on your joint legal responsiblities, one of which is your joint checking account. It wouldnt matter to the officer if you have one or hundred accounts in your individual name. As long as you have sufficient documents to prove joint responsibility, you are fine.

ari4u is right. I has my own and my wife has her own and both of us has one joint account. Just make sure you have history on the joint account. Use it so there are activity from both of you.
