Today I got to know after 80 days from interview date that my(and my wife's) A# file is missing. I called USCIS many times but its the first time that the 2nd level officer told me that the DO has requested A# file from the National Benefit Center. I checked and do see that I have 2 Alien numbers(one when I filed my F1-OPT and I see a different number on my Green Card). Can this be the reason for the delay? I asked this also from the 2nd level officer if thats the reason and she said that they must have consolidated that when you got your Green Card. I'm clueless here. The IO did tell me that they need to review everything but didn't tell me that the file is missing even when I asked.
