apparently, the INS, in conjunction with local law enforcement, has arrested 2,000 illegal aliens in Operation Return to Sender, started after May 26 this month. 800 of them are already deported.

While the operation is focused on alien criminals and repeat offenders, it is a good start that the INS is starting to do its job, albeit painfully slowly.

the immigration problem in this country didn't happen over night and we cannot expect to resolve it over night. However, there is hope as long as we keep working at it diligently.
 
why does everything have to be about "helping you"? Cannot you be unselfish for one day?

You've been around here long enough. You should know the agency we all love to hate is the USCIS, NOT the INS.
