19 days for routine passport service !!

Currently it took me 19 days to complete a routine passport application. I posted this info on the other forum - see also others experiences ( http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?315765-PP-Application&p=2228731#post2228731). I am posting it here if any one can benefit from the info and save some money.

What are you communicating in your post? I am confused by the purpose of your thread. I believe all regular passport applications takes a while, unless you request an expedited service.

OP is saying that 19 days was "short" not "long". OP is happy and asking people not to waste their money expediting if they can wait 3 weeks for the passport.

I agree. I applied for regular service for my USA passport. I got it in hand in 20 days, start to finish. Please dont waste money for expidited service.
Aug 27 2010 dropped the application at post office,
Aug 30 2010- updated online- under process.
Sep 7 2010- process completed- and mailed in Priority mail with tracking number(shown on line)
Sep 10 2010, recieved passport.
Sep 13 2010, recieved passport card
sep 15 2010, recieved naturalizaion certificate
