Just firgured I would post a couple of hints for calling the 1800 number and not having to wait for EVER while listening to the menues....
As soon as the voice starts talking....press 9 that will take you to the menu
For Status on your case that has been filed press 4
To talk to an officer press 3 for more options and wait......
It is most helpful to ask an obscure question to start with, that way it is easier to get your called escalated to someone who can actually look at your file records on the computer. I have tried asking to be escalated a couple of times and they always claim that there is no such thing......and when you call back 5 minutes later and ask a weird question like "I am afraid my finger prints have expired" they let you straight through to an actual office
